In this class, a series of classic pilates strengthening and stretching exercises are done using only a mat. A typical pilates matwork class focuses on using one’s own body weight and gravity to build strength, endurance and control. It’s the perfect place to work on building a strong core and enjoy a challenging workout. The class is open to all levels. Beginners are encouraged with simpler variations while the more advanced are challenged with increased intensity and exercise modifications.
